Honestly, I would strongly recommend that you just call the company that makes your motherboard and have them walk you through it. That's what I did. It was about a 25 minute phone call but it's so totally worth it. They won't let you screw anything up.

Like I've said, the easiest way to fix it is to call the manufacturer of your motherboard and have them walk you through the process of flashing your BIOS. It takes about 25 minutes to do and it's totally worth it. I'm pretty sure that this will fix your motherboard and allow you to play your games. Happy gaming!

@xvi32 It's not a processor issue, it's a motherboard issue. Call the company that makes your motherboard and have them walk you through the process of "flashing your BIOS". It's kind of complicated and it would be hard to explain over YouTube.

What kind of motherboard do you have? Gigabyte? Asus?

I run on vista home premium and all my games crash immediately.

Well it never hurts to have your software updated so after you update all your drivers, flash your BIOS just to be up to date on everything! Also make sure that your computer is not overheating. Since it works for a decent chunk of time and then quits, that could be an issue. Avoid that at all costs since that can physically ruin your computer.

Hey guys,

You need to update your BIOS on your motherboard. This is called "flashing" your BIOS. Call the manufacturer of your motherboard and have someone walk you through it. It can be risky to do sometimes.
