I'll always love how a villain that at the beginning is shown as evil but funny and comic... slowly surprise you with his actions, until you realize that the seemingly fool jester in truth is the biggest threat to all life in the planet.

Kefka's laugh, Nanaki's howl, and One-Winged Angel. Back when voices in Final Fantasy could be used for unexpected scary and/or dramatic moments. Not complaining that the games are voiced now. Just interesting to look back.
