Hey, it’s me Timey.
Sorry things have been kinda slow lately. I wanna give you guys a sort of update so I don’t feel like I’m actively blowing you guys off — the reason uploads / reviews have been slow is because I’ve had less motivation to be active on the channel lately. Not saying I have NO motivation — I do still have plans for future videos, and I still have a couple videos I’m actively writing (those being the ERBP Season 2 ranking and the “Sonic vs Mufasa” retrospective) — but when it comes to actually making those videos, that’s where I’ve been slacking. I feel awful about it, but between me having a job and preparing to go back to school, along with other personal IRL activities, I’ve been more tired than not, which sucks a lot of my writing energy out of me. It’s not enough for me to quit outright, but it has been taking a massive hit on me.
Not only that, but I feel like I just haven’t been doing that well in general — aside from my Happily N’Ever After video which I’m still proud of, it’s hard for me to look back on any of my non-shitpost videos with any sort of pride, as I feel like I could have explained X topic better or sounded like too much of a dick about Y topic. I want to improve on my content, but I feel like I have just been stagnant in mediocrity as of now.
So I want to ask you: how can I improve my videos / channel? Genuinely looking for constructive criticism, be it for better commentary, writing, editing, handling of certain topics, whatever. Please comment below this post; I will take whatever feedback you guys can give. You guys mean the world to me, and I wanna make ya feel heard.
