Description
Welcome to the TASproductions YouTube Channel! Formerly the home of VeggieTales: Live and Reloaded, and Stannard/Dorland Misadventures. It's been a fun ride, but as with all good things, it must come to an end. This is basically an archive of my formidable years so to speak. Check out all the old projects (minus VTA) here! The past can never be erased. Enjoy it as you please.

TASproductions It's time for the long-awaited farewell address. Been a long time coming, huh? Well, I'm finally making good on my promise. Please go here to see my VHS stuff in the future: https://www.youtube.com/@VHSStuffandT.... Henceforth, all of the VHS content will be moved to that channel. As it is, I want this channel to remain the "museum of my past projects" it had been until then. Yes, that means I likely won't post any new content here, but that's ok. I'm not the same person I was when I ran TASProductions. Really, no one who appeared here is the same. That's ok. Time moves on, and people change. I'll never forget the amazing times we had on here together. The VeggieTales L&Rs, the food specials, the Top 10 lists, and yes, even VTA. Stannard Misadventures also gets a huge shout-out for being a project six years in the making, and also a massive learning experience. Should it return someday, it'll be quite different and hopefully improved. (Though likely just me at the helm). We also can't forget those insane videos I made as a kid when I first opened this channel. Some are still up for you to see today. Others are graciously privated. Check the available ones out if you're looking to die of cringe. I know I am. But hey, I can't be too hard on them. If it wasn't for those videos, stuff like Media Mementos or my other projects outside of this lawless website would never have come to be. I want to thank you for joining me on this wild ride. This channel was part of my formidable years, and I wouldn't trade the experiences, both the good and the bad. I'd especially like to thank the following people for always being there for me while this channel was in production, giving constant support and constructive help. -Alfonzo (Kyle) -Billy H.L. -Elshine -Leaf-Razor -Matt Rosewood -Xavier M -LovelyLivelyV -Sinistra Dax It's been real, friends! If you're sticking around for Media Mementos' twilight days, I'll see you over there! If not, thank you for everything! This is Trevor (T, VTA Larry, TV Talks guy, etc.) signing out. TASproductions Hello! I've been doing some thinking, and the old thoughts from when I did VHS uploads here are coming back. I'm not sure if posting archived content on my old personal channel is really the right move. I would much rather this place be a collection of things I did in my early years than a bunch of mass uploads of old rips. Don't worry, I'll still post archived stuff elsewhere. That's where you come in. I've been posting to Archive.org for a while (now with smaller file sizes), and I'm going to keep doing that. HOWEVER, I need to know if you'd like for me to post the rips on a new channel as well. No matter what, I'm still going to preserve my stuff if time allows given my busy schedule and all. It just won't be here. And I'll be sure to tell you all whichever one it ends up being very loudly. So what will it be? (1 year ago)

TASproductions The people have voted! We’re starting over! The uploads will vanish today (save a couple), and will reappear with new ones overtime. Thank you for your input! (2 years ago)

TASproductions Ok. Big decision here. I’m thinking of re-scanning these tapes, including the commercial breaks. If I’m able to do this, I’ll post each one on Archive.org in full without the need for a Patreon. In exchange, most of my old breaks will be taken down. BUT they will be reposted with (hopefully) better quality. I now have a better idea of what to do, how to better clean my equipment, and simply have a better machine in general. What do you think? At least #5 predicted modern day internet with its random humor.

To be fair, The Wonderful World of Autotainment had some moments, the Hole in the Bottom of the Sea is great and that one joke about "its funny because it's unexpected" basically predicted many memes before they really took off.

I love that jab at CNN. Made me chuckle.

It's kind of hilarious in a dark way that Veggie Tales was meant to be a ministry first, show second, and that Phil Vischer made Jonah because he wanted to be the Walt Disney of Christian media.

Isn't it ironic that Sweetpea Beauty, the episode with the worst animation, had the message about inner beauty?

Have you heard that NBC Universal had fired Phil, Mike, Lisa, and Kurt just for “creative control”?

Si Robertson’s character in merry Larry is literally just him reincarnated as a veggie tales character.

Wait.... That girl in the thumbnail... Is she why everyone says Esther returned in "Merry Larry"? I mean, I can see the resemblance, but... Come on. It's a huge stretch.

I know this isn't a fault on the creators' part, but I feel like it couldn't have helped Merry Larry's publicity that it came out around a time when Duck Dynasty were at their ultimate low point, i.e. the Phil Robertson controversy.

I like “The Wonderful World of Autotainment” as a guilty pleasure, although I HATE My Day

League of Incredible Vegetables may not be great but its theme song SLAPS

Yeah, I think Auto-Tainment works only for its meme value (It's funny because it's unexpected).
