I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.

Done some lead pouring myself. I've made 2 and 4 ounces star sinkers using lead obtained from friends who got them from car batteries and roofing materials. We split the ready sinkers 50/50 as I supplied the lpg gas. True hard to get lead supply nowadays, you right, I've got them from the garages, ie the wheel balance stuffs, although some are steel that don't melt easily as lead. One SUGGESTION, we can use used SPARK PLUGS, from the garage as sinkers too. They are free! Tie up 4 together and the weight at leat 2 ounces?? Fish on!!!!
