Home of Winston Willamette's deep play through of Red Dead Redemption II story mode, for advanced players looking for new ideas and techniques for a thorough and immersive play through, and things they may have missed. Each episode represents a game day with short edits and subtitling and titling. The goal is a slow progression through the story, completing as many encounters and tasks and seeing as many unique sights as possible. If you can muster the attention span, there are many small details to be found that can be found that take many play throughs to find and notice.
This play through was started in May 2022.
Winston Willamette is the player using a PS4 Pro for recording and editing. This is a single stacked play through with some clips of alternate actions not done in the main play through. Settings are compass only with HUD and the view changing between third person, first person and cinematic mode. Item wheel, satchel and crafting menu access have been edited out.

The Play Through: PS4 vs PS5 [RDRII]
Rockstar is in the process of releasing a current gen update of Red Dead Redemption II for PS5. I was hoping that there would be additional content for this release, much like when GTAV went from PS3 to PS4, but this appears not to be the case. The improvements seem to be confined to graphics: increased frame rates and HDR support and compatibility with the newer machine. My gameplay for this channel uses a PS4 Pro, and while this platform uses what I call "half-assed" 4K and does have limited HDR support that can be used with PS4 version of the game running on a PS4 Pro, I don't use 4k, primarily because I record in 1080p instead. Recording in 4K is resource intensive requiring about 4 times more data storage than 1080p. While I do have a PS5 with an added 2TB SSD, I prefer using my PS4 Pro with the 1TB mechanical storage drive replaced with a 4TB SSD.

This is one of the spawn spots for the elusive Western Bull Moose. See the vid for tips on how to find it and hunt it. This location is often overlooked since the Moose is not seen from the road and behind the trees on an edge of a cliff.

One animal that many players have difficulty finding, even more than a bull moose, is the cow moose. Studying this animal is required for the Zoologist trophy, and skinning one is required for the Skin Deep trophy.
The cow moose seems to spawn in fewer locations than a bull moose. It is often difficult to differentiate one from a cow elk at a distance. However, knowing where the spawn spots are will increase your chances. There is a spawn spot for the cow moose on the other side of the Dakota River from Caliban's Seat, not too far from Camp Horseshoe Overlook. A bull moose will also spawn very near to Wallace Station.

You can still do it while they’ve got guns drawn on you, jus the chances of you shooting first are slim

As you progress with the dead eye level the quick draw changes according to the level. You can shoot multiple times and tag multiple targets

Do note that drawing when the screen is red will significantly increase the drawing speed as opposed to drawing when the screen is yellow.

Mine just stopped working all of a sudden. I’m still saved on my game from when I left off of which is yesterday and I was able to go the slowly squeeze RT for deadeye. It’s not working now, why? Please help!! I’ll like and subscribe
