“With a lot of respect to a lot of good players now, but we’re talking about Lawrence Taylor.”
DuderMcBroBlaster (7 years ago)
Im taking Belichick's word more than anyone in this conversation. He coached the Giant's 80s defense and knew LT well.
amkhan68 (7 years ago (edited))
Not only LT tackled you but he went into the stands and tackled your whole family.

Two classes;

First Mack, now Parsons…these guys never learn. There is only one LT
robduncan2816 (7 years ago (edited))
the internet is absolutely adorable sometimes, this is one of them. Mack even being mentioned in the same sentence as LT is a f**** joke

People love to say Tom Brady is the greatest . If he played against Lawrence Taylor he would have been Swiss cheese
devonrickcain9717 (6 years ago)
So let me get this straight, University of North Carolina produced the 2 greatest players of all time in their sport, in the (NFL) Lawrence Taylor & in the (NBA) Michael Jordan??
darksided9979 (7 years ago)
No question to me. High af or not. LT is the greatest one to ever put on the pads.
davewilkins4268 (2 years ago)
Lt was absolutely the most dominant player on either side of the ball and if you know football at all defense is the most important side I was fortunate to watch Lt play his whole career I’m not a giants fan but Lt was absolutely the most dominating player I have ever seen he was damn near unstoppable
georgeburkhardt5632 (7 years ago)
Lawrence is in a class by himself, hes simply the best ever
DjPyro2010 (5 years ago)
The H-Back position was created specifically to stop Lawrence Taylor
robertpercy2028 (7 years ago)
"I used to call him Mr Taylor" lmao
omarburton31 (4 years ago)
"Double him even when we run away from him" damn thats respect
libraryfiles4470 (7 years ago)
Speed and power yes but what set LT apart was his superior understanding of the game.
jerryorrell4856 (4 years ago)
Lawrence Taylor was feared by more NFL players than any other single player...period.
kevinamack6 (5 years ago)
LT was a not only a world class player but world class partier. I was in Bennigans one night and he came in during training camp and bought everyone in the entire bar shots. He was the man.
bayindostudio (7 years ago)
I'm surprised Chris Carter didn't say he knew Lawrence Taylor's father.

Bill "im not putting anyone in Lawrence Taylor's class" belichick
