I adopted my son in 1997. This song is so dear to me and now at 23 he is the kindest sweetest person I've ever known. I am so blessed he is my son.

I am singing this to my grandson who was born with a brain disorder called Sturge Weber. He has the bluest eyes I have ever seen. I prayed for him before the last EEG with tears streaming down my face. The anti seizures medicine had kicked in beautifully but there were a lot of other things that were now normal. He will be blessed. This innocent child will thrive. God has and will overcome this in ways I do not understand.

I used to sing this to my son when he was in the NICU. He didn't make it but he loved the song. Now I sing it to his baby sister every night. I cry every single time still but it feels like a way to connect them to each other

My Poppop, David Clifford Bollinger Sr, used to sing this to me and dance when I was only a baby. He passed Tuesday. I will always listen to this song when I need to feel close to him
