and answer some questions. It was a lot of fun! I haven't watched the video yet so hopefully I didn't embarrass myself but it was really cool getting to meet like, seven cool people I knew from the internet in a single day.
The morning of this shoot, my producer Kat saw the t-shirt I was wearing was horribly creased (from being stuffed unfolded in a suitcase) so she ironed it. It was a massive improvement (thanks!). I'm strongly considering purchasing an iron now I know it could be a business expense

I'm sure I'm not the first to notice this, but that half-second shot at the start where Harrison Bomberguy puts Analog magazine down on top of a stack of books containing Tinker Belles & Evil Queens, Trapped, and The Celluloid Closet is such a delightful little easter egg for returning viewers.

This makes me so uncomfortable as someone who was a proofreader for a small manufacturing website. This kind of plagiarism was absolutely rampant and basically all articles about niche topics like steel manufacturing parts are ripped and awkwardly reworded from each other with no credit. And as soon as ChatGPT hit the market, articles were getting sent in with terrible inaccurate information. I’m glad to see SOMEBODY noting that plagiarizing text by swapping words around is still plagiarism, because when I tried to point out how prevalent plagiarism was among our writers, I felt like I was going insane.
