Rose Now it becomes that no event is enough No monument alive enough No ritual breaks the spell Shakes the dream Nothing on this plane will make it the same Because these gestures only mimic, re-enact Something real That is less real to us Here Now And we are in the now. Every day we do it and them, him and all of them, Who I can feel now like a great crowd, all of whom I know intimately, are not quite here They are everywhere. Untouchable Only a sense a presence An awareness of Greatness and spectatorship That takes getting used to As I don’t feel in that sensation on their end Any heaviness of human emotion Any grieving. So, here we walk with our funny human feelings So intense and real to us Being minded and guided like children Vulnerable in these mortal forms And no one can help us Accelerate a process of healing We must each come to an easier place On our own, in time.
