He was my favorite QB of the Raiders because he was so humble . He played for the love of the game. He knew what needed to be done and did it . He didn't need all the flash and fanfare . He proved what needed to prove to himself that he could play and win two Superbowl s. He will always remain my favorite QB of all time because of his humility.

I'm a Raider fan because of Jim. He is not in the Joke of fame, but to every Raider fan that saw him play and watched him overcome much adversity and hardship, he is in their hall of fame and nothing is more important than the fans. They also neglected to put The Snake into the Joke of fame until long after he died, I hope a two time winner is rejected showing what a real joke the Joke of fame is. Jim, thank you for being a Raider and thank you for the super bowl wins, the last the Raiders ever achieved.

Jim Plunkett and Cliff Branch invented the back shoulder fade pass. The Raiders loved the deep pass. Branch had blazing speed. Defenses were so afraid of this, they played deep zones. This opened the sideline for Plunkett to place the ball. So lethal.
