personally she represents what the average person in their universe must feel....they are trapped in a cycle of egg man bringing total destruction and sonic saving them only for the cycle to repeat over and over...sure its a thing if you have a voice in the matter, if you are a fighter or have super powers but if you are just a guy getting constantly attacked by giant robots? its insane. this should be explored more cuz surge was right about starline being right about the cycle thing

THIS is what works about Lanolin. The way she's the opposite of Sonic: Super Normal, Type A, worrier, overthinks and her mind goes to dark places, perfectionist, lacks charisma beyond her dedication, serious as a heart attack, views it all through what hangs in the balance rather than as an adventure, wears her fears and vulnerabilities on her sleeve, where Sonic makes it all look effortless she struggles every step of the way, If Sonic's like "Hey, it all worked out in the end" Lanolin would be like "NEVER AGAIN!", and how everyone else is more forgiving of Lanolin's mistakes than Lanolin herself...

She's right that both Sonic and Eggman are trapping the world in their "Hero and Villain game". What she's wrong about however, is thinking that Sonic can just end it if he gives it his all...
