Two of the very finest writers of their generation on the American dream and what it means to be an American. If I ruled the world, their lyrics would be required reading in high school. Thank God we have their songs, not just to sing but to think about their meaning as well.

I’m 64 and had the best music of all times!! My son is 33 he was about 17 when my music was playing and I’d ask what song was on and he knew every song never missed a beat!! Him and his friends listen to are era of music!! As there main core. Are music will go on forever ️

Saw Mellencamp about 18yrs ago, Donovan opened. One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen & have been to many. Donovan had us in a 60’s psychedelic trance, John had everyone in the huge stadium up, dancing & singing along
