As an adopted person, the one thing I know for certain, an adopted persons timeline on doing things will always seem out of sorts, and illogical. The trauma of abandonment haunts you for a lifetime.

Its was cool to hear in the beginning, When Michael said when Ray Lewis announced his retirement to the team, the rest of the guys step up and wanted Ray to win one last ring, send him out as a Super Bowl Champ. That shows how much respected Ray was

I like that he’s trying to send the message of “you don’t need someone to save you to make something of yourself” as many kids in foster care wont have someone come save them and will age out of the system. They need inspiration and the story of a kid in foster care who fought for himself and took whatever help he was able to (inconsistently) get while growing up is a more inspiring story for many than the one we were given from the movie

He's definitely NOT "unintelligent" as he was portrayed, very well spoken!!

Most movies are based on real life stories not true stories. I hope people learn that message here and stop thinking movies are documentaries.

He was given shelter, they did it from their hart, he was trusted, he is successful person because of them. Thanks to them he did not ended up on the street, not another black broken man.

Mike spoke volumes.. when you're "hungry" you'll find anyway to survive and that could be a tragedy in a sense. I'm glad he turned his hungrier into a successful life 🏽
