Good Griefs
I got something to say and im gonna be serious for a second. Thanks to all the subscribers to this youtube channel. The past 4+ years has changed my life around more than anyone will ever know. A huge part of that due to streaming.
As many of you have noticed, the upload quality of the videos is NOT the best. The editing for over 90% of all the videos on this channel have been edited by me personally on my iphone using the imovie app. The tiktoks have been the same along with a captions app. Dont believe me? Go watch the "Going All In on Poker Every Hand" video and look at imovies audio sounds section.
I am honestly surprised how big the channel has gotten and how much its grown purely off of comedy style alone. I have hired editors in the past and sometimes those videos perform well and some dont- BUT for the most part it was probably an easier watching experience with a proper edit.
With that being said, I think its time I invest in giving you guys better edited videos permanently going forward. Im investing in REAL editors for each video now, so for the next few months you may notice some new styles of editing. Ive seeked out a handful of new editors and Im going to see which editing style gets the best feedback and attention.
Pretty soon the channel will have its very own consistent style of editing after some experimenting with these editors. Im excited because I truly think the youtube deserves the most attention out of all the platforms I post on. The short form videos in my opinion only show a glimpse of a story into some really funny storylines from plenty longer videos.
Again, I am really really really astounded with how far the channel has come with my terrible editing skills. I truly think the videos will pay for themselves in the long run as I think this channel is still in its early stages. So thank you to everyone who donates on stream, you really do help make this possible for me.
I believe this channel should be over a million subscribers. I really do. And we have lots of plans and ideas moving forward that can happen if the channel can grow to where it belongs on youtube. I mean when GTA 6 alone comes out.... jeez.. we really cant wait for that.
So for everyone whos a sub now. Consider yourselves early. I really think THIS is the starting point for the channel.
For the people who say they miss the poker era, or the metaverse, or cod, just remember that this whole channel has been built on the premise of doing what is the most fun at the moment. I will always do those games, when I feel like doing them. I have some VR coming soon. Cod was a game i grew up playing, and im sure i will always go back to it. GTA and Fortnite as well. Just enjoy the moment, try not to miss the past so much or youll miss out on how much fun the rest of us are having in the present. Arc Raiders has been INSANELY fun for me lately. Im sure that will be lots of peoples favorites years from now and I will see comments saying "I miss when he did arc raiders!". The comedy style is the same, and Im having more fun than ever. So try to enjoy it yall. and consider yourselves EARLY.
