This might be the most important song she's ever done. I am a huge fan. I hate sad songs. This one makes me cry in convulsions. Yet I know it is one of her best, and one of my favorites she's ever written. It's crucial. It's alarming. It's urgent. There's an urgency it invokes in its sense of memorial and grief.

who actually knows that this song isn't about her it's about Trayvon Martin. a new interview with Beats 1’s Zane Lowe on Thursday (Oct. 20), Lady Gaga discussed the song “Angel Down,” from her upcoming album Joanne, which she revealed she wrote about Trayvon Martin -- the unarmed Florida teen who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman.
