KGW News A Portland couple tried everything to get their son mental health treatment. Then, he killed his mother | Hunter Graham says his family's tragedy is evidence of Oregon's flawed mental health system, which waits for someone to commit a crime before mandating treatment. In November, Hunter's son, Austin, confessed to murdering his mother, telling police he strangled her to death in their family home in what Hunter believes was a psychotic episode. KGW News In the community of Gearhart on the Oregon Coast, residents have become accustomed to the herds of elk that come to visit, even passing through residential neighborhoods. But things have changed in the last few years. Fewer of the animals started showing up. That's likely because they were being hunted. Between 2021 and 2023, hunters killed 77 elk on a single property. And it's all legal — the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife issues elk tags to landowners who report that elk have damaged their property. They issued over 600 tags in Clatsop County alone during that same period. The people who requested elk damage tags say it's necessary to deter the elk and the damage they can cause. But others think it's a tactic that's being overused, even abused. KGW investigative reporter Evan Watson took a closer look at the program and the impact it's having in this idyllic coastal community. Watch full story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FHpF... Having a single desk in the middle of multiple inmates.... It's ok, he has that tape on the ground to stop violent assaults....

That punch was straight out of a badass movie, deputy has some slick moves. Credit to the other inmates who didn't try and join in, and to the one who actively helped.
JuanDavid-ke2xq (4 years ago)
All the other inmates probably don’t like that inmate. Pisses everyone off.
