UPDATE ON OUR BABY STORMEE RAYNE
We finally made it to the vet with Stormee Rayne. We received good news and possibly bad news. The good news is what's going on with her legs and back is reversible with medication. They have her muscle relaxers, steroids, and more gabapentin. Thankfully, she still has feelings in her legs. They're just not working because she has two vertebrae that are missing some of the cushioning between them, which has pinched a nerve. The bad news is that while doing the XRay, they accidentally found a large mass in her chest cavity over her heart. It's half the size of her heart. It doesn’t have anything to do with what's wrong with her legs and back, but it could possibly be cancerous. We're waiting for a new appointment at a new vet 2 hours away to have more specialized scanning done to figure out what it is and if it's life-threatening.
For a moment, I felt such overwhelming relief when we found out she would walk again, but then to be hit with that was like being punched in the chest. I pray that it's nothing serious and that she'll be okay. Maybe her hurting her back and needing vet care was a blessing in disguise. Maybe if it is cancer, we will have found it early enough to treat it. I do believe everything happens for a reason, even when it's hard to understand.
I know I've been talking about her a lot lately, and I wanted to update you. So many of you guys have shared your own stories and prayed for our baby. We couldn't thank you more. I feel so incredibly blessed to have our community ❤️

Life lately has really sucked lately 😭 There's not really anything worse than seeing something happen to one of your pets. 5 weeks ago, our baby Stormee was hurt somehow and was having muscle spasms in her back, so we took her to the vet and was told she most likely pulled a muscle. They gave her medicine (that shes still taking) and sent us on our way. I've slept with her on the couch for weeks to keep her away from the stairs and the other dogs, and Amanda sits with her all day every day while I'm film and edit. Keeping the other dogs away from her has becomena full time job for us both. But after about three weeks, she was finally doing better, and then we woke up yesterday to find her in way worse condition than she was when all of this started. Her back legs don't work at all. She drags them behind her and pulls herself through the grass to go potty 😭😭 It has to be something with the nerves. To make matters even worse, Amanda's wallet was stolen, and we have to wait another week for her insurance card and all of our replacement cards so we can actually take her back to the vet. She seems in much better spirits than she was yesterday, but to see your innocent little baby go through something like this is horrible. So if you pray. Please pray for our baby 😭 as of now, She's resting on the couch with her other mommy, and we're doing everything we can to keep her comfortable until we can get her back to the vet.
Because of everything, my uploading schedule is all over the place, and for that, I apologize. Hopefully, everything will get better soon. I appreciate all the support you've all always shown me ❤️

You guys, I did something really Dumb! I accidentally forgot to add the palette swatches to my review of the new Terra Moons X Ellie Starr - Starr Gazing collection video. I am kicking myself. Unfortunately there's no way to fix it without deleting the video and losing all of your comments. I am so sorry, I can't believe I did that, I hope this helps for those of you who love swatches as much as I do!

Theres so many indie brand that i want to try but i cant really afford to buy alot so im trying to be really selective of what palette i want to get from each brand and plus i try wait for sales but im excited to try them out

I have a “limbo” drawer where I put things I am thinking about decluttering. They stay in that drawer until it is either full, or I make a decision. About half the time I put stuff back in my collection. Sometimes stuff stays in the drawer for 6 months. If it is there for that long it goes out. Loved seeing your collection!

Ensley Reign, Unearthly, and Simply Posh are my favorite indy brands. Fantasy Cosmetica and Wicked Widow are awesome too! I’ve never tried Bella Beaute, Gourmand Girls, Give me Glow, and only have the Heather and Amy palettes from Adept.

I think Melt fans are so in love with Melt from the past that they dont want to admit that their shadows are sub-par and the shimmers are so sad compared to indie (and some mainstream brands). I can say this because I own the ols school Melt stacks, which are and I have about 5 newer Melt palettes, and they suck. I dont think it's you... we are just blinded by Melt, longing for them to be better.
