Holy crap. These 55 mph winds in Minot, North Dakota (edit: forecast just upped to 70 mph) and the blowing dust they create are both off the charts. Visibility is now down to less than a half mile, and it looks like Armageddon Day out there. I think I'll be hiding and rocking inside the fifth wheel for the rest of the day.

There's almost nothing in the high plains of the northwestern #NebraskaPanhandle. We can't say that it's the middle of nowhere, because we already passed that about 100 miles earlier. Still, there's a stark beauty to this part of the country that always leaves me mesmerized.
