hey fun fact: chaining the railcannon shot through more than one coin doesn’t actually increase it’s base damage.

Some tips, the railcannon doesn't get locational bonus damage. It also doesn't get as much bonus damage from coins as the piercing shot, so use your coins on those instead. A railcannon shot with 4 coins does what you did there, a slab piercing shot with 4 coins easily does more than double that. Slam and jump before you throw the coins when you do that, it gives you more airtime and throws the coins higher so you get more time to charge.
