the bat breaking on the final pitch is incredibly poetic. The breaking point of this seasons tension all came down to that double play.

I am more overcome by how intense this World Series was than by who won. By far the most entertaining display of baseball I have ever seen and experienced. Thank you champions Blue Jays and Dodgers. It was thrilling!

Yamamoto won three games in the 2025 World Series, becoming the first pitcher to do so since Randy Johnson in 2001. Besides that, he went to the bullpen in game 3, which was an 18-inning game, and prepared for the pitch. It was an insane dedication to the team. What a man of MVP!

Yamamoto still touching 98 after all of that too is even more wild

Never watched Baseball before and this was the best introduction to a World Series I could ever have hoped for. WOW

That split second decision by Mookie is underrated!

I'm in my 70s, Been a Dodgers fan all my life. But I now have a LOT of respect for the Jays. They mostly played outstanding ball in every game.

Been a Dodger/BB fan since 1960. That was a GREAT baseball game!

One of the greatest series ever. Yamamoto is a machine

Dave Roberts putting Miguel Rojas in purely on a whim the last two games might be the greatest manager play I’ve ever seen in baseball.

I haven’t been to sleep since the game ended. It’s beyond insane. It’s beyond any dreams of a dodgers fan.

The Jays were on fire for the most part of this game with so many base hits. As a Dodger fan, I was worried but it ain’t over until it’s over! What a fabulous game 7!!! Right down to the last pitch.

Roki Sasaki took on the closer role but I wouldn’t say we was an established closer. He still showed flashes in the postseason, including game 6, where he was a little all over the place. Sticking with Yamamoto was the right move. He is your ace

A brutal series loss for the Jays, I doubt the fans slept after that, If I was a Jays fan I would be haunted forever.

I’m a dodgers fan and I went into this game feeling that the dodgers didn’t have enough to win the World Series. And ended up surprised with the win in the end. I have much respect for the blue jays

From a super heartbroken Jays fan, what a series, what a game 7, all baseball fans win this one!

"The guy who is currently pitching - Yamamoto - has a fantastic butt" is how I almost expected this sentence to end when seeing the frame you paused at haha
