From a landlord perspective. It’s known that immigrants will pay rent on time and “religiously”. They don’t want problems and don’t want the spotlight on them or attract attention or be deported. They don’t want any trouble. They want to work (which they are grateful for the opportunities in the US), make money and have a simple life with family and friends. They sacrificed so much by leaving their families in their home country to be in the US. They don’t want to f*#+k it up!!

I have tried to pick strawberries as a teen for extra pocket money, This is harder than people would think. The people who continue, and are willing to do that kind of work for us, are hard working human beings who don't deserve what tRump is doing to them

Those “low skilled” jobs are really the backbone of this country. The term “low skilled” is a misnomer corporation’s use to avoid paying workers their rightful wage based off of their importance to this country.

As a Farmer's Daughter. Please don't refer to agricultural farming assistance jobs as "low skill". Call them "Fundamental jobs". If food is fundamental to your life. Then people who plant, prune, propergate and pick your primary produce have the essential, fundamental skills.

I think the better question to ask those farmers is "Do you think your competitors would rat your workers out to shut you down for a competitive edge?"

Working in the fields is not unskilled and it is very hard labor.

As an American who immigrated to the Netherlands, once you've BEEN an immigrant, you realize exactly why immigrant crime rates are lower: you know damn well your stay in the country is wholly dependent upon your behavior. If your life is better in your new country, like mine is because their healthcare system saved my life when I was spending every month fighting not to bleed to death, you don't even want someone to think you aren't grateful.

So they voted for Trump to NOT do what he said...
