As a Dallas native and Mavs fan, I’m in complete and utter shock. I thought it wasn’t real or a bad dream at first, because this is the by far the worst trade I have ever experienced in my life in any sport. Lakers received a generational talent for a player in AD who is having a great season, but is still heavily injury prone and 32 years old (Luka 25 y/o). Idc what issues Luka has, you don’t trade a player like that who’s taken you to the western conference finals twice and the NBA Finals just last year. Now there is no direction for the future and the Lakers have gotten their future generational talent and don’t have to bow down to LeBron’s request anymore.
Side note: if you wanted to trade Luka, why not make it public and have fans of other teams put pressure on their franchises to get him ? I know there is a better deal the Mavs could’ve got.
A few examples:
Thunder: Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, a first round pick
Cavs: Evan Mobley, Donovan Mitchell, first round pick
( I rather have Evan Mobley than Anthony Davis straight up)
Rockets: Amen Thompson or Jalen Green, another player, first round pick
Hell even trying to get Lamelo Ball

I was just about to go on a rant but you hit it on the head! Frustration watching a stagnant team that wins one game and press is making them “contenders” and always choking in key situations .. I threw in the towel after the Arizona loss..

Are you seriously talking about the Texans as a franchise to model? You are right about one thing… You are definitely no football expert. Throw in the town and jump on the bandwagon so you can root for the Texans.
