Keep the tradition and still improve the stadium BUT also make it about MORE THAN FOOTBALL so as to benefit everyone. As an alumni of the University of South Carolina marching band I can say that of all the stadiums we played there was nothing like Williams-Brice. When you are on that field the crowd cheers vibrate through your whole body. We often played in the rain as we didn't leave the stands unless the game was called. Music is as much of the fiber of that stadium as football. USC has been good about continually upgrading it since it was built in 1934 and I believe that should continue. USC, the State of SC, and the city of Columbia all should have a state of the art venue.

Upgrades are definitely needed to keep up with the rest of the SEC schools in landing recruits and generating revenue in today's game with the NIL and transfer portal.
